Breeder Direct Launches the Contend And Command Series of Corn Germplasm

CUBA CITY, Wis. – Breeder Direct was launched in 2020 to provide unique germplasm options that give independent seed companies more margin opportunities and product diversity. Since then, the focus has been on accessing and evaluating products that compete against the best hybrids in the market and enable every acre to be profitable.

This effort has yielded a wide-range of germplasm options from nearly 20 originators from around the world. It is from this product pool, that we introduce the Contend and Command series of corn hybrids.

The Contend Series

The fighting spirit of these hybrids enable you to contend on any acre, on any farm. They deliver consistent performance in challenging environments and have the yield punch to stand in the ring against any competitor.

The Command Series

These hybrids allow your brand to take command of its future by going toe-to-toe against the best hybrids in the market. These elite products are purpose-built to shine on top ground and have the agronomic firepower to ensure a strong finish.

“Independent seed companies need multiple genetic choices to achieve true independence.” said Marc Neuman, director of sales and product development for Breeder Direct. “The launch of both the Contend and Command series of corn hybrids gives seed companies options that result in success on every acre, no matter the yield potential.”

Hybrids from both the Contend and Command series are backed by multiple years of testing data across diverse locations and are supported by US-based spec production. This allows your company to launch these hybrids in the 2023-2024 sales season.
